Our Ongoing Earthquake Response
You are helping earthquake survivors feed their families and send children to school.
Most survivors of the 2021 earthquake in Haiti have yet to receive any assistance at all. Due to the ongoing gas crisis and remote nature of the affected area, it is difficult to reach victims. Your support helps us reach survivors in need.
We reached 670 families in eight remote communities with direct cash payments. Families used the funds to provide themselves with immediate relief for hunger and pay school fees.
Parents in affected communities have come together to rebuild schools for their children. All they needed was assistance purchasing building materials to realize their goal.
Your gifts have already helped parents rebuild three schools: one in Okoto, one in Lazil and the third in So Matirin.
Beyond Borders and our partners on the ground are facilitating three more school builds this year!
